Career Crossroads program

An insightful and confidential process to empower individuals to make proactive and positive career choices.

At various times during our working life we find ourselves undecided about our future in fact, at a career crossroads.

SHK’s Career Crossroads Program is designed to assist you to make an informed and judicious choice about your career. This may involve making a decision a decision on alternative roles, whether to take a package, accept a regrading or change career direction.

The process utilises a variety of assessment and interpretive discussions which will give you greater self understanding and help in setting a clear goal. Each program is personally tailored to suit your needs and encompasses issues outside the workplace as well.

The approach taken is holistic and may include discussion on any relevant area of life which relates to career.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES:

• Clarification and understanding of the situation
• Agreement on timelines and key decision points
• Introduction to a comprehensive assessment process which may include various psychometric tools to enable the individual to fully understand transferrable skills, work values, motivators, personal type and management style.
• Imparting of career planning skills and assistance to create a long term career and life plan.
• Helping individuals to make a well informed, objective decision on their immediate career alternatives
• Preparation of an internal resume and provision of training on internal interview skills and networking.
