Time sheets
When you accept an assignment through SHK we will confirm the details of the assignment in a letter to you. Accompanying the letter will be a time sheet for you to copy and use.
For every week or part thereof you work, you will need to complete a time sheet. You must sign the completed time sheet, arrange for the person within the organisation to whom you are accountable to also sign, and then fax or scan and email the completed timesheet to SHK by 5.30pm on Friday. A failure to promptly send in a time sheet may delay payment to you.
If you become aware that the person within the organisation to whom you are accountable is not going to be available to sign your completed time sheets, you will need to arrange for an alternative authorised person to sign on behalf of the organisation and advise us.
If you are being paid on an hourly rate basis, you should not include any time spent travelling to or from work, nor time spent on lunch breaks. If there are specific requirements of an assignment that necessitate you travelling as part of your role, this should be discussed with your SHK consultant and alternative arrangements agreed.
The hourly or daily rate paid for your services incorporates a leave component. Unless there is a specific arrangement to the contrary that has been documented prior to your commencement of the assignment, you will be paid only for the hours or days that you work. No additional leave payments of any kind will be made.
If you are contracting your services through a company, you will need to submit a tax invoice (as well as your timesheet) each Friday. You may choose to use the tax invoice template below.
