Helen Kapalos is an award-winning journalist whose successful career includes hosting prime-time news and current affairs programs, and more recently as the executive producer of an independent documentary, aired on global streaming platforms and several international TV programs.
Helen's executive search practice focuses on senior media appointments as well as select communications and corporate affairs positions. Her experience across 22 years in commercial and public broadcasting provides her with exceptional insight into changing media trends, and the evolution of a new and emerging media landscape.
She also specialises in the search and selection of senior diversity and inclusion leaders. Helen believes a growth mindset is essential to adopting strong, inclusive practice, which unlocks limitless potential across any organisation. This includes that good culture is determined by values-led, authentic leadership and that inclusive work practices build resilient and dynamic teams, where diversity adds value and strength.
Helen holds the inaugural Vice-Chancellor’s Fellowship at Swinburne University, awarded in recognition of her work as the Victorian Chair of the Multicultural Commission, where she advanced purpose-led transformation in social cohesion policy and diversity and inclusion practice.
