Mike joined SHK’s Outplacement & Career Transition team in November 2010 and he has worked in the career management, coaching and outplacement field in Sydney for 15 years. His 360-degree role has seen him build and consolidate SHK's presence in the Sydney market, personally delivering many executive, senior manager and professional level programs
Prior to joining SHK, Mike worked in the employee assistance field as NSW State Manager for a leading provider and he also spent more than five years with another leading career transition and coaching provider where he held Practice Leader and Senior Consultant roles.
Mike has been involved with a diversity of high-profile and significant change projects, engaging with many blue-chip clients in the finance, professional services, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, healthcare and industrial sectors.
His earlier career was in the United Kingdom in the human resources, recruiting and training fields, including working for 12 years for a major direct marketing business, where he was responsible for remuneration and reward, policy development, organisational change and employee relations.
Mike has considerable project management, change management and organisational development experience gained in consulting and corporate roles. He also has significant experience in coaching managers from a diversity of backgrounds, and in workshop facilitation.
Mike holds a Diploma in Business Studies and Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management. He holds accreditation for SHL Occupational Testing & OPQ and has trained in project management.
