About the role
In this newly created, Melbourne based position, the Assistant Company Secretary will report to the Company Secretary and be responsible for providing high quality company secretariat and corporate governance support within the Company Secretariat team. In providing a broad range of company secretarial services, the appointee will contribute to ensuring that the work of the listed Board and its committees runs efficiently.
About you
You will be expected to hit the ground running and will need the confidence to operate at a high level. You will likely have at least two years’ experience acting in the role of a company or committee secretary, ideally in a listed financial services environment, with solid expertise in the application of and compliance with ASX Listing Rules, either in a practical or advisory capacity. Ideally, you are tertiary educated in the legal, governance or the company secretarial field. Your strong organisational skills, and well-developed people and interpersonal skills, underpin your proactive approach to planning work, meeting deadlines and engaging stakeholders. Your ability to work in a high-performing and fast-paced environment will see you thrive as a key member of this high performing Company Secretariat team.
