About the role
The Associate Director, Research Integrity is a new position created to lead and manage the Research Integrity Investigations team with the Director, Office of Research Ethics and Integrity (OREI). Working closely with the Director, this position will oversee the receipt and management of concerns relating to potential breaches of the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research and University policy. The role forms part of the OREI leadership team, and will lead a small team of research integrity investigations professionals with a whole-of-university focus to address all forms of complaints about research integrity. This includes effectively drawing on subject matter expertise within the team, across the University and externally to deliver effective and efficient outcomes particular to each case.

An accomplished values-based leader, you are highly skilled in conducting comprehensive investigations and have expertise in case management. With experience gained in the higher education sector, a regulator or large corporate with a sophisticated integrity function, you possess outstanding stakeholder engagement capabilities and can quickly build professional networks. A nuanced and diplomatic communicator, you have the ability to exercise initiative and independent judgement in a complex environment. Your expertise in planning, designing and delivering programs that support business effectiveness is underpinned by your focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
