About the organisation
Community College Gippsland (CCG) is an education provider dedicated to transforming lives and enhancing communities through learning, and to enhance social inclusion through education and training. CCG offers diverse programs to meet individual, community and industry needs, and also operates a unique school, to support vulnerable learners.
About the role
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) provides strategic and business leadership and guides the success of the organisation in fulfilling its goals and strategic pipeline. Working closely with the Board, the CEO will lead and manage the organisation, applying a thorough knowledge and nuanced understanding of CCG’s political, social, economic and environmental operating contexts. Fostering robust relationships internally and externally, the CEO will ensure Community College Gippsland is market competitive and remains a respected leader in the delivery of community education and training services.
About you
With experience at the Chief Executive or equivalent level reporting to a Board of Directors or similar, you are known for your inspiring leadership, your forward thinking and your ability to deliver. Your innovative approach and strategic engagement is underpinned by strong business acumen, including of dynamic risk and financial management. People focussed, you have proven skills in influencing, negotiating and navigating change to meet the needs of the community. Highly aligned to the values of CCG, you are attracted to a regional education and training setting, where excellence in individualised teaching and learning are mandatory, outcomes are meaningful and growth is supported. Skilled in attracting funding or philanthropic investment, you have a track record of developing partnerships to create opportunities and magnify impact. Experience in working in a highly accountable, multi-stakeholder environment is essential, ideally within an education and training or aligned services context. You are driven by challenge and the chance to leave a legacy through providing broad education and training opportunities for people, and positively benefiting community.
