A registered family violence service, Switchboard are committed to delivering high quality services and programs to the LGBTIQA+ community.
About the role
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Switchboard Victoria plays a key role in providing visionary leadership and strategic direction, working closely with both staff and volunteers, alongside Switchboard’s Board of Directors. You’ll ensure the long-term financial health and operational excellence of the organisation by driving the implementation of the Strategic Plan. A vital part of this role is supporting the implementation of Switchboard's Anti-Racism Organisational Change Plan, alongside other organisational strategies to foster an inclusive culture embedding anti-racism across Switchboard's programs and services.
About you
The ideal candidate for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) role at Switchboard will be a dynamic, visionary leader, deeply committed to the organisation’s values and purpose. You’ll have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing LGBTIQA+ communities, with proven experience in advocating for and delivering inclusive services, preferably within clinical governance contexts. Your respectful communications and leadership will reflect a nuanced, intersectional perspective, informed by lived experience and resilience. You excel in navigating the complex political, social, and cultural landscapes that impact LGBTIQA+ communities in Australia and lead initiatives that have broad and lasting benefits.
