The Chief Financial Officer is a key leadership role responsible for providing expert advice on all financial matters including commercial analysis and the provision of financial and management information with relevant insights. The appointee will work to enhance financial systems and embed an environment of strong financial control and governance within a public sector framework. The Chief Financial Officer and their team will work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to implement the organisation’s strategic plan and ensure continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives are identified and actioned to create financial sustainability and deliver superior student outcomes and experiences.
CA/CPA qualified, you are a commercially orientated finance leader and relationship builder with experience managing specialist finance functions at a strategic and operational level. You have a demonstrable track record providing financial and strategic advice as a member of the senior management or executive team, ideally within a publicly funded environment or suitably complex services organisation. A strong continuous improvement mindset and ability to identify and execute efficiency initiatives, with a view to improving customer experience, will be essential to your success in this position.
