About the Role
As CFO, you will work closely with the CEO and Board, playing a pivotal role in shaping and driving financial and investment strategies to support Guild's ambitious growth agenda. You will take ownership of financial performance management, evolving data analytics, and embedding strong financial controls and governance. Your focus will be on improving margins, driving process efficiency, and exploring AI and technological innovations. You will be instrumental in preparing strategic business plans, running Board workshops, and providing high-quality financial advice. Leading and empowering the finance team through significant change, you will drive performance, build capability, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including Regulators APRA & ASIC, Auditors, Approved Actuary, Credit Agencies, Banks and Shareholders.
About You
A highly strategic and transformational CA/CPA qualified finance executive, you have a proven track record in complex, service-driven organisations, particularly in asset and investment management. You bring an innovative and engaging approach to financial operations, with experience in developing talent, driving performance, and implementing efficient processes. Your background in high-growth or PE-backed environments, with strong M&A and investment management expertise, positions you to navigate integrations, finance system implementations, and capital allocation decisions. Collaborative and charismatic, you challenge and engage respectfully, balancing commercial acumen with community values. You are a strong communicator with the ability to build robust relationships, engage with the Board, and inspire your team through change. Your alignment with Guild Group's values and mission, especially its commitment to community and customer-centric service, will be crucial to your success in this role.
