Forensicare is the state-wide provider of forensic mental health services across Victoria. As the only agency in the state that delivers specialist and tailored clinical forensic mental health services spanning all areas of the mental health and criminal justice sectors, Forensicare has a unique perspective on mental health and public safety issues. In addition, Forensicare operates a comprehensive research program through Swinburne University of Technology.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and as a member of the Executive Team, the Chief Financial Officer leads the finance, technology, procurement and facilities management functions. The role is responsible for all financial and business services across Forensicare’s operations, affording commercial insight and innovative thinking to deliver continuous improvement, and compliant and accountable practices. The role provides expert and strategic advice to the CEO and Executive Management Team on financial, business and risk management to ensure financial sustainability and the adoption of efficient commercial practices that align with the annual operational plan and organisational values. The appointee will provide regular reports to a progressive and high-performing Board.
CA/CPA qualified, you are a values-led and transformative finance leader who has experience in either a public or health sector entity, or corporate organisation. Your strong financial acumen and excellent understanding of risk management is complemented by your strategic agility and commitment to innovation and continuous improvement. A trusted advisor who builds effective stakeholder relationships at Executive and Board level, you have a track record of influencing positive organisational outcomes.
