Reporting to the Vice President and leading 100+ staff, the Chief Marketing Officer is responsible for leading marketing, student recruitment, product/course market research and communications University wide. This includes leading strategic marketing and communications, building brand and reputation domestically and internationally, driving and implementing the domestic student recruitment strategy, and developing internal and external communication strategies. Providing strong leadership and a continuous improvement focus, the role will ensure a sector-leading innovative digital presence and collaborate effectively across the University, and externally with government, media, corporations and professions to achieve shared outcomes.
You are a proven experienced leader of successful marketing, communication and sales teams within a large complex services organisation. Your highly developed interpersonal, communication and influencing skills up to the most senior executive levels enable you to create trusted and productive relationships. Underpinning your track record in providing strategic direction to and galvanising significant cross functional teams, you have demonstrable skills in advising on marketing investment and proven strategic and conceptual capabilities for development and improvement of products and services across an organisation. Socially aware, you are a values-led, collaborative, energetic, entrepreneurial and motivational executive.
