Court Services Victoria (CSV) is an independent statutory body corporate founded on the basis of judicial leadership of the Courts administration and supporting judicial independence in the administration of justice in Victoria. About the role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Deputy Chief Officer (DCEO) is a key member of the senior executive team and partners with CEOs and executives across the Courts Group to provide leadership and strategic direction to the integrated delivery of key initiatives, policy development and services. This is a leading role in the delivery of reform and continuous improvement with a strong focus on the needs of the jurisdictions and shares responsibility with the CEO for increasing the productive capability and capacity of CSV and for promoting professional expertise and competence to strengthen the public trust in Victoria’s system of self-administered courts. The role requires high level expertise and an exemplary professional record in the operation of publicly funded entities across the areas of budget strategy, strategic procurement, system governance and stakeholder engagement.
About you
With post graduate qualifications in either finance, economics, law or public administration, you have extensive experience in an executive leadership role and are an adaptive and collaborative enterprise thinker. You have demonstrated experience in delivering transformational change within a federated model where you have made contributions and decisions driving performance improvement and enhanced outcomes. You are passionate about creating and managing a dynamic team and lead with authenticity, credibility and a growth mindset. You understand ambiguity and thrive on the opportunity to collaborate cross functionally to maximise your impact and support the achievement of organisational objectives. A focus on navigating complex and significant outcomes is complemented by your commercial acumen, strategic agility and technical expertise.
