About the role
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director, Business Development leads the organisation’s business development strategy, systems and external engagement to grow the reach, uptake and value of programs and services. The position provides leadership and operational management to this important function, while working laterally across the organisation to drive commercial growth and innovation through an evidence-based and client-centric approach. As a member of the Advisory Group leadership team, the position contributes to the development and execution of School strategy and major School decisions and initiatives.
About you
You are strategically accomplished, inspiring and a strongly collegiate business development leader. Distinguished by your strong commercial acumen and advanced relationship building and management abilities, you have a proven record in B2B engagement, partnerships and business growth. Your experience spans working in consulting, public sector or learning and development organisations and selling or advising into government. Underpinning your approach are your advanced organisational know-how and agility to create and implement strategies and systems to address complex priorities. A consummate professional, you have a knack for winning the hearts and minds of others and aligning and galvanising people towards mutually beneficial outcomes.
