About the organisation
The Pinnacle Foundation is a national charity with DGR status that provides educational scholarships, mentoring and opportunities for young LGBTIQ+ Australians to realise their full potential and overcome challenges arising from their identity.
About the role
Reporting to the CEO, the Financial Accountant will work closely and collaboratively with, and take functional direction from, the CFO. They will be responsible for the day to day transactional finance operations, assist with the production of financial reports and information, and undertake other ad hoc activities as reasonably required.
Degree qualified, and ideally CA or CPA, you have experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, planning, and management of auditors. With strong attention to detail, you possess well-developed influencing, negotiation, and organisation skills. You are flexible, collaborative and excellent at engaging stakeholders. You are adept at managing multiple priorities to deliver agreed outcomes.
This role is offered on a paid, part-time (five hours per week) casual basis. While not essential, applications from suitably qualified members of the LGBTIQ+ community are strongly encouraged.
