The Good Friday Appeal (GFA) raises money to enable The Royal Children’s Hospital to provide world-class care for Victoria’s children. Raising more than $363 million since its inception in 1931, the Appeal brings together all sectors of the community across Victoria to raise funds throughout the year, culminating in the Good Friday telethon.
Reporting to the GFA Board, the Executive Director is responsible for the overall strategy, execution and operational capability of the Appeal. This includes envisioning strategies in response to evolving donor and partner behaviours and needs to ensure the Appeal continues to be a resounding success into the future. The public face and spokesperson for the GFA, the appointee will inspire community support and awareness, cultivate strategic partnerships and foster deep engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders.
An outstanding, authentic and credible communicator, you are equally comfortable facing the media, reporting to the Board, or embracing large groups of volunteers and corporate partners. Assured, collaborative and digitally savvy, your senior leadership experience spans marketing, commercial partnership development, public relations, and financial and operational management. Strategic and future-focused, you are driven to make a positive and lasting impact.
