About the role
The Principal Consultant will build productive relationships with senior industry leaders to help win and grow large client accounts and provide expert advisory and consulting services to executive teams and CEOs. Alongside the client-facing component, the appointee will drive market and sector relevant thought leadership, translating this into learning solutions for businesses, including in the areas of leadership, strategy, change, digital transformation, culture or sustainability. In contributing to the creation of thought leadership and new client offerings, the Principal Consultant will further enhance the rigour and credibility of MBS’ custom solutions and suite of short-course offerings.
PhD qualified, you have a high level of mastery in an area of practice aligned to the school’s expertise (ideally, leadership, change, transformation) complemented by extensive experience in consulting and/or executive education. Commercial and with an entrepreneurial mindset, you are adept at building networks and cultivating relationships, with a successful track record of growing client accounts. You are a highly skilled consultant and facilitator who delivers compelling presentations and pitches, expertly designs leadership solutions, and are recognized as a trusted adviser in consulting for clients at an enterprise level. Underpinning your success is your inclusive and collaborative style, your interest to coach and support peers, and your ability to oversee multiple large or complex matters simultaneously. You possess the passion and determination to uphold MBS’s focus on scholarship and academic rigour while creating compelling and engaging client solutions that deliver impact.
