About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Business Excellence, the Customer Service & Logistics Manager is responsible for leading the customer service and logistics functions, ensuring efficient and accurate order processing, delivery and customer support. Inspiring and developing the customer service and logistics team, the appointee will provide a productive, supportive and motivating work environment, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and efficient order fulfillment. The role will collaborate with sales, marketing and finance teams to develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data, market trends and statistical techniques, while, gathering market intelligence, understanding demand drivers and supporting new product launches and promotions. Analysing customer service metrics to identify areas for improvement, the appointee will develop and implement customer service policies and procedures, and work closely with customer and logistics partners to ensure high quality service delivery.
About you
You are a highly credible experienced Customer Service and/or Logistics Manager with strong communication, administrative and people leadership skills, and in-depth knowledge of customer service principles and practices. You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrable proficiency in demand planning techniques and statistical forecasting. Your passion for people leadership and development is complimented by your commercial acumen, accountability, strong ethics and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems such as SAP is beneficial.
