About the role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Director, Communications is a key leadership role responsible for the development and delivery of contemporary communication and digital strategies and initiatives to enhance the fundraising, reputation and awareness of the organisation. A member of the executive team, the appointee will play a pivotal role enabling engagement and revenue, by providing advice, expertise, assistance and direction to the CEO and executive team. Leading best practice communications, driving innovation and excellence in digital channels, and managing brand, risk and reputation management, the role will advocate for the importance of fundraising and the role of the Foundation amongst key stakeholders.


About you

You are a proven communications executive with experience in developing and executing programs which support fundraising growth. Digitally savvy, you are known for your strong collaboration with peers and stakeholders and understand that forging strong relationships and working together drives sustainable outcomes. Equally strategic and hands-on, you are agile and decisive in decision making to drive meaningful impact. You lead others with vision and clarity, possess superior diplomacy and organisational awareness, and can successfully navigate a complex matrix of internal and external stakeholders. You have a track record of driving best practises that leverage innovative thinking, including knowledge of cutting-edge strategies, systems and processes. Importantly, you are inspired to make a positive difference to the lives of others.
