About the role

Reporting to the Group Vice President – Business Development and Engagement, the Executive Director, Business Development provides strategic leadership for global business development initiatives, focusing on identifying, securing and developing new opportunities for collaboration and partnership, programme expansion and revenue growth. The role contributes to organisational business planning, partnership negotiations and execution, and supports the achievement of growth targets across Australasia, Southeast Asia, UK/Europe and China. 


About you

An influential commercial leader, you have demonstrated success in designing and executing global business growth strategies and partnership models within the higher education sector. Your exceptional stakeholder engagement, negotiation and relationship management skills at senior and executive levels are complimented by your proven ability to build, negotiate and manage institutional and commercial partnerships across multiple countries and cultural contexts. You ideally understand the international higher education landscape, including bilateral and multilateral academic collaboration frameworks and standards, and student recruitment.
