About the role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the EGM Sales and Market Development will lead the development and execution of plans to deliver the Board’s strategic commercial objectives. This will include stewardship of a diverse team responsible for all company wide sales and new market development, across existing business lines, new market segments and large and complex tenders. The role will develop and embed strategic sales processes and account management practices across the group and a multi-disciplined and high performing culture. It also plays a key role in executive leadership, strategic planning, client relationship management, and continuous improvement.
About you
You are a driven B2B sales and business development leader with a track record of growth in electrical contracting and utility infrastructure project delivery, and possess the knowledge, networks and experience in the electrical sector to open doors and convert. You have outstanding commercial acumen and experience managing complex bid financial models, understanding of costs and margins, contracts, and commercial risks to achieve the group objectives. With a passion for customer relationships and a commitment to service excellence, you are digitally proficient. A natural leader, you have a track record in establishing and coaching dispersed teams, in dynamic project environments, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture. Importantly, you thrive with challenges and have demonstrated success in implementing new ideas and adapting to change.
