  • Lead culture, change and leadership uplift across staff, members & volunteers
  • Shape organisation-wide initiatives that translate directly into stronger community outcomes

About the organisation

For more than a century, this respected Victorian for-purpose organisation has mobilised over 10 000 members, volunteers and employees to tackle poverty, homelessness and social exclusion, standing alongside people in their toughest moments and helping them rebuild stronger futures. Drawing on deep community roots and a spirit of practical compassion, it delivers a spectrum of programs—from emergency relief and housing support to education and skills-building initiatives—while amplifying the voices of those it serves through thoughtful advocacy. Every action is guided by dignity, solidarity and a belief that lasting change happens when individuals are empowered to shape their own paths.

About the role

Reporting to the Executive General Manager, People and Culture, the Organisational Development Manager will drive cultural initiatives, manage change and promote continuous improvement. With a focus on developing strategies to build leadership capability and foster a cohesive, high-performing culture, the appointee’s key responsibilities will include designing integrated organisational development programs, guiding stakeholders through significant change, and partnering with leaders to embed values-based practices. Critical to the success in this role will be the development of trusted relationships with staff, members and volunteers.

You excel at leading meaningful cultural change, influencing leadership teams and shaping inclusive environments. Your ability to communicate effectively and with impact at all levels, along with your consultative approach, enable you to build trust and promote shared goals. Above all, you relish the opportunity to leverage your passion for optimising culture in an organisation providing critical community services across the state.
