About the role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the People, Safety and Culture Lead is a member of the senior leadership team and responsible for leading the JCA’s human resources, safety, and culture agenda. The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, overseeing all HR functions, including workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, as well as designing and delivery safety strategy, and managing risk and compliance. Success in this role will involve attracting, developing, and retaining employees connected to the organisation’s core values, continuing to strengthen JCA’s position as a great place to work.


About you

You have proven experience in a People, Safety and Culture leadership role, ideally within a manufacturing or operational environment. Your background includes overseeing an end-to-end HR function, managing payroll and human resources information systems, and developing strategies aligned with business objectives to drive engagement. You possess excellent working knowledge of industrial relations and workplace safety legislation, and enjoy finding practical solutions to employee matters. Your ability in leading culture initiatives and leadership capability programs will be essential to support this organisation embarking on a significant transformation journey.
