About the role
Reporting to the Regional CEO, Strategic Communications, the Senior Managing Director, Strategic Communications - Australia will lead and grow the firm’s Strategic Communications offering in the Australian market. This role will be expected to drive business performance, expand client relationships, and deliver high-level strategic counsel to C-suite executives across a range of sectors. The successful candidate will collaborate across business lines to unlock cross-functional opportunities, while leading a national team focused on corporate communications, public affairs, crisis and issues management, special situations, investor relations, ESG, and geopolitical risk. As a key member of the leadership team, this individual will also contribute to the broader regional and global business strategy and growth.
About you
You are a seasoned C-suite corporate affairs leader, with a proven track record in building and scaling advisory businesses within professional services. You bring deep experience advising clients in complex, regulated environments across M&A, capital markets, shareholder activism, and corporate transformation. Your ability to cultivate and grow C-suite relationships is matched by your commercial acumen and strategic thinking. You are a trusted advisor with strong financial literacy, executive presence, and the ability to deliver nuanced counsel in high-stakes situations.
