ANDREA OGDEN

Andrea Ogden is a Partner in the CFO Practice at SHK Asia Pacific, with decades of experience appointing CFOs and senior finance leaders. Big 4–trained and a qualified accountant, she brings strong technical understanding of the finance discipline and the evolving CFO role, supported by a long‑established executive network. Andrea has helped scale two Melbourne‑based recruitment businesses and was Director of a specialist accounting and finance agency prior to joining SHK.

She has a proven track record delivering CFO and senior finance appointments across the full CFO portfolio, including commercial finance, strategy, financial control, taxation, treasury, internal audit and risk. Andrea is regularly engaged on complex and business‑critical mandates, working with Boards, CEOs, CFO’s and investors to appoint finance leaders aligned to organisational priorities such as growth, transformation, governance and risk management.

Her experience spans all major sectors with recent appointments in health and aged care, education, infrastructure, transport, property development and housing, energy, retail, technology and state government and includes listed organisations, private companies, complex for‑purpose entities, and high‑growth, PE‑backed businesses.

Andrea adopts an advisory‑led approach, partnering closely with clients to define success and align leadership capability, technical depth and cultural fit to deliver sustainable outcomes. She also provides considered career counsel to candidates, supporting long‑term leadership effectiveness beyond placement.

Andrea holds a Bachelor of Business from Griffith University.
