Tech Enablement Specialist
Responsible for driving continuous improvement in the firm's technical capabilities. With expertise across DevOps, internal software development, and business process reengineering, Chris ensures the SHK team has access to bespoke, innovative tools that deliver exceptional outcomes for clients and candidates.
Before joining SHK, Chris built a diverse career, beginning in the music industry as a supplier of audio cassette tapes and vinyl records. A passionate software developer, he has independently developed and deployed several open-source projects, which are now in the hands of approximately 250,000 users worldwide.
Chris was drawn to SHK's forward-thinking approach to transformation and technology, and takes pride in creating systems that equip his colleagues to perform at their best. He firmly believes in the importance of enabling access to accurate data, delivered efficiently and seamlessly, to support the dynamic environment of people advisory services.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) from Deakin University as well as AI Engineering certifications from Microsoft. Outside of work, he channels his creativity into drawing, music, and embedded systems design - where he tinkers with his soldering iron and scratch-built 8-bit computer.
