- Deliver the innovation agenda
- Deploy data and technology in service of financial resilience
About the organisation
This specialist financial institution operates at the centre of a major Australian financial system, providing centralised treasury and risk management services to institutional clients across funding, liquidity and interest rate exposures. About the role
Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Projects, the Analyst, Innovation & Strategy supports delivery of the organisation's innovation agenda and other strategic initiatives. The Analyst will design, develop, and implement analytics, AI and decision-support solutions, including prototypes, proofs-of-concept, dashboards and tools that improve the use of the organisation's data and information assets. Working collaboratively across the business, the Analyst will embed and continuously improve these solutions, and monitor and report on their adoption, utilisation and effectiveness. The role coordinates project activity, maintaining project plans, action registers and implementation schedules, and supports the tracking, reporting and measurement of benefits. The Analyst will also support change management, stakeholder engagement and adoption planning, and contribute to capability uplift in AI, analytics and project delivery through training and knowledge sharing. Key to success will be the ability to translate opportunities to improve decision making, organisational performance, client outcomes and ways of working into practical solutions that deliver tangible outcomes.
About you
You have implemented innovation, business improvement, analytics or strategic initiatives that delivered measurable business outcomes, and you can point to solutions you have designed and built yourself, including dashboards, analytical tools, prototypes or decision-support applications. You use data, information and technology to support better decision making, and you are equally comfortable working alongside subject matter experts across a business, asking open questions, constructively challenging current practice and building commitment to new ways of working. You understand project delivery, stakeholder engagement, organisational change and benefits realisation, and you manage competing priorities with strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Exposure to financial services, treasury, financial markets or public sector organisations is preferred. This is an important opportunity to deliver solutions with consequential impact.
