About the role
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Area Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing the dealer network across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, with a focus on executing account plans, driving revenue growth, increasing market share and expanding the dealer footprint with high quality partners. The role balances relationship management with active business development, requiring the ability to convert strong dealer relationships into commercial outcomes, lead robust conversations and win new accounts in under serviced regions. Whilst at the same time supporting dealer capability through training, in store execution and local marketing initiatives. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this position is regarded as a key development role within the organisation and is part of the longer term leadership succession plan, with clear scope for career progression.
About you
You are degree qualified and bring proven B2B sales experience within a dealer or distributor led environment, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth through channel relationships. You understand the dealer model and know how to convert trusted partnerships into commercial outcomes through strategic territory management, account growth and new business development. Commercially astute and highly personable, you excel in fostering long term relationships based on trust and execution. Exposure to irrigation or adjacent product sectors will be viewed favourably, as will any experience leading or developing others. Above all, you demonstrate the ambition, capability and potential to progress into broader sales leadership roles as the business continues to grow.
