About the role
Reporting to the National Business Development Director, the Business Development Manager (VIC) is a newly created role designed to accelerate the organisation's growth across the public and private hospital sector. The role will focus on customer and growth opportunities across Victoria, with potential for broader engagement nationally as the business evolves. With a strong clinical and solutions focus, the appointee will promote a portfolio of pressure care solutions, provided through a well-established and successful product rental sales model designed to meet the dynamic needs of modern healthcare environments. A key focus is building strong strategic relationships with executives, procurement teams, wound care specialists, allied health and occupational health specialists within public health networks, major metropolitan hospitals, private hospital groups and independent private health facilities. The appointee will deliver high impact product demonstrations, clinical educations sessions, patient support programs, and tailored product and solution recommendations to support and influence quality-of-care initiatives and drive outcomes.
About you
You have extensive business development experience gained within the healthcare, hospital, clinical equipment or medical device sectors. Your experience includes the ability to engage senior decision-makers and clinical stakeholders, a solution-based sales approach and proven success in driving strategic product growth agendas. An effective communicator and presenter for clinical and executive audiences, you understand hospital operations, clinical workflows and patient-care challenges. Highly organised with strong analytical and commercial capabilities, you are passionate about clinical education and pride yourself on exceptional service delivery. Your proactive, self-motivated, and autonomous approach will see you make a meaningful impact on the safety and well-being of people in care.
