In addition to its ongoing asset custodian role, the organisation is transforming to be a more commercially driven business, pursuing new opportunities from its extensive asset base and strengthening its core role in Victoria’s transport system. With annual revenue at around $150 million and ambitions for significant growth, VicTrack is reshaping how it operates to meet its aspirations for the future.
About the role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Enterprise Services Officer is a newly created executive position that brings together People and Culture, Enterprise IT, Legal and Compliance, Health and Safety and Asset Governance into a single, effective enterprise services function. The focus is practical and immediate: uplift and improve core business functions so they work for the business, continue to build organisational culture, and help deliver the Future Ready transformation agenda. Leading a team of 50+, you will set clearer standards, lift capability and help move the organisation from process heavy to outcome driven, while advising the CEO and Board on readiness for growth.
About you
You are an experienced executive who has led enterprise or shared services in a complex environment and know how to lift performance and bring functions together in a clear, practical way. You are credible leading IT, HR and legal functions, and you bring sound commercial judgement shaped by private sector experience or government roles with clear commercial exposure. You build trust quickly, operate with confidence at Board level and stay connected to your teams, with the focus, energy and resilience needed to help an organisation move forward with clarity and confidence.
