About the role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a key member of the Executive team, responsible for developing and executing technology, digital and data strategies that directly enable Monash IVF’s operational and strategic objectives. The CIO leads enterprise-wide information, cyber, and digital capabilities, and governs the organisation's technology investment portfolio to maximise value and strengthen resilience. This role holds accountability for IT governance, risk and compliance frameworks, service management, and vendor oversight across the Group. The CIO will also lead significant digital and systems transformation programs, embedding change effectively across a complex, multi-site healthcare environment. Managing a skilled IT team and significant technology budgets, this role shapes the architecture and culture of a modern, secure and scalable digital environment.
About you
You are a senior technology leader with postgraduate qualifications in ICT or a related discipline, and substantial experience in complex, regulated environments - ideally within Australian healthcare or digital health. Your expertise spans technology strategy, enterprise architecture, cyber security, and large-scale transformation programs. You are comfortable operating at Board and Executive level, translating technical complexity into clear strategic direction, and building commitment across diverse stakeholder groups. With strong commercial acumen, sound vendor and contract management capability, you have a demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Above all, you are inspired by the prospect of applying technology to improve the lives of patients and families.
