About the role

The Company Secretary is a key governance professional responsible for supporting the effective functioning of the Catholic Education Sandhurst Ltd (CESL) Board, Sandhurst Catholic Early Childhood Education and Care Ltd (SCECEC) Board, and their committees. This role ensures the organisation complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and implements decisions made by the board of directors. The Company Secretary acts as a chief governance advisor, facilitating sound corporate governance practices and ensuring the integrity of the governance framework.


About you

An experienced company secretary, you are driven and motivated and demonstrate strong leadership and outstanding organisational capabilities. Your highly developed people and interpersonal skills demonstrate the ability to influence and work cohesively with the Board and Executive team. You apply high levels of judgement, attention to detail, initiative and accuracy to manage competing priorities. You relish the opportunity to play a key role in this purpose-driven organisation. Values-aligned to the mission of Catholic education, you recognise this role as both a potential ‘tree change’, and a significant opportunity to develop and facilitate sound corporate governance practices in a complex and highly regulated environment.
