Eynesbury Golf Club is a premier 18-hole championship course located within the master-planned Eynesbury community, approximately 40 minutes west of Melbourne’s CBD. Opened in 2007, the course has been strategically designed to perform across varying weather conditions and to suit golfers of all abilities, while delivering a scenic and high-quality playing experience. Set amid 288 hectares of protected Grey Box Forest, Eynesbury is a fully contained and thriving community of nearly 3,000 residents, offering world-class golf alongside premium hospitality, event spaces and member services that attract both locals and the wider Melbourne market. With a range of residential lots, Eynesbury continues to grow as a destination where lifestyle, community and exceptional golf come together.


About the role

The General Manager holds end-to-end accountability for the strategic, commercial and operational leadership of Eynesbury Golf Club. This includes full P&L responsibility across golf operations, hospitality and events, membership, facilities and shared services. The role oversees a complex, multi-department operation encompassing agronomy, food and beverage, events, finance, facilities, people leadership and customer experience. In addition to day-to-day performance, the General Manager is responsible for capital planning, asset stewardship, cost control, labour efficiency and sustainable financial outcomes, while ensuring strong governance, WHS, compliance and risk management frameworks are in place. Working closely with ownership and key stakeholders, the role plays a critical part in shaping long-term strategy, brand positioning and community engagement, combining strategic oversight with a visible, hands-on leadership presence.


About you

You are a commercially minded operator with senior leadership experience in golf, premium hospitality, resort, or destination-style leisure venues. You bring proven capability in leading complex, multi-revenue operations, with strong financial discipline, workforce management and operational rigour. Comfortable operating beyond traditional committee-led environments, you thrive with clear accountability and decision-making authority. You are a confident and visible leader who builds high-performing teams, maintains high service standards and drives continuous improvement. With strong stakeholder engagement skills and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach, you balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and bring a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest, member and community experiences.
