They have built a strong reputation with owners corporations and strata communities for reliability, execution and service quality. Following a significant recent acquisition, the business is entering an exciting scale up phase, with a development pipeline set to more than double its existing portfolio, creating meaningful opportunity as the organisation expands its national footprint.
About the role
Based in New South Wales and reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Head of Account Management will play a critical role in protecting and growing value across the organisation’s embedded networks portfolio. This leadership role is responsible for building and embedding a proactive, structured account management function across approximately 500 active sites. The role will focus on designing and implementing a tiered account management strategy, establishing disciplined renewal pipelines and engagement cadences, and leading a growing team of Account Managers. Carrying direct commercial responsibility for the renewal pipeline, the position will involve negotiating contract terms, modelling IRR and ROI outcomes, and developing considered commercial responses directly to existing clients, and also to third party brokers active within the portfolio. In addition, the role will retain hands on ownership of high value and complex accounts, drawing practical experience working directly with strata managers and owners corporation committees, while identifying upsell opportunities across the existing customer base.
About you
You are a commercially minded relationship leader with direct, hands-on experience working with strata managers, body corporates or owners corporations, and a proven ability to navigate these stakeholder environments effectively. Your background spans account management, client retention or relationship management, ideally within embedded networks, energy, utilities or property adjacent infrastructure. Data driven, you are comfortable structuring commercial negotiations supported by ROI and financial analysis. As a people leader, you are skilled at building, developing and energising small teams, creating clarity, accountability and momentum. Entrepreneurial by nature, you thrive in fast moving, growth stage organisations where you can build structure, take ownership and make a tangible impact as the business scales.
