About the role
The Head of Transformation Program Delivery leads the strategic development and delivery of the Transforming Boroondara program. Reporting to the Director Customer & Transformation, this role leads organisation wide planning and delivery of technology enabled improvements. It oversees major initiatives, including upgrades to Council’s core business systems, ensuring all changes align with the Target Operating Model and deliver measurable benefits for the business, the organisation, and the community. Key responsibilities include managing resources and vendors, providing transparent reporting, and leading a team of technical professionals to ensure projects are delivered to scope, time, and budget.
About you
You bring experience in leading large scale business transformation programs within complex environments. Your expertise covers solution and application architecture, modern delivery practices including Agile and DevOps, and the leadership of highly skilled technical teams. With relevant tertiary qualifications, you have a deep understanding of customer centred design, service transformation, and organisational change. You are adept at influencing senior leaders, simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, and managing vendors to achieve program outcomes. Your ability to prioritise effectively, manage budgets, and lead teams through change is essential.
