About the role
Reporting to the Sales Director, the National Business Manager is responsible for the national strategy, growth, and profitability of a specialist retail and wholesale channel. The role will develop and execute a multi-year channel strategy, driving both topline and margin growth. This includes strengthening relationships with key decision-makers and leading commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, and promotional programs. The National Business Manager will partner closely with marketing, supply chain, and field sales teams to improve forecast accuracy and ensure high-quality retail execution. Leading two direct reports, this position is a key member of the senior leadership team and will act as a strategic advisor to the Sales Director on the development of the channel.
About you
You bring extensive and recent experience managing national accounts and have built strong relationships across key customer groups. Skilled in leading teams and shaping commercial direction, you have a track record of developing and implementing effective sales strategy rather than simply managing accounts. Commercially minded and insights driven, you influence senior stakeholders through data, clear reasoning and a deep understanding of commercial levers. Confident working cross functionally, you collaborate effectively across sales, marketing and supply chain to drive outcomes. Ambitious and self-driven, you demonstrate succession potential for future advancement as the organisation continues to grow.
