Colleen Langdon is a Partner in SHK’s Executive Search practice with a prominent focus in the areas of finance and strategy. She also has deep expertise in appointing senior leadership roles in human resources and communications and corporate affairs.
Colleen’s career in executive recruitment and talent management spans over three decades and combines the unique experience of working for leading global recruitment firms, as well as leading internal global executive talent acquisition function for one of Australia’s largest organisations.
Prior to joining SHK, Colleen spent 8 years at BHP where she was accountable for global executive recruitment strategy and execution. She facilitated all group level corporate functional and senior operational leadership appointments across Australia, North America, South America, Asia, and Europe.
With over 20 years in leadership roles in executive recruitment firms, Colleen has successfully built new businesses, developed new teams, and built long-standing, strategic client relationships. She has contributed at General Management level across multiple geographies.
Colleen partners with clients and hiring managers as a strategic advisor to align talent strategies with corporate objectives and is enthusiastic about ensuring exceptional candidates experience is maintained whilst sourcing talented and engaged candidates who make meaningful contributions to their new organisation.
Colleen holds a Graduate Certificate of Business (Human Resource Management) from Swinburne University of Technology and is certified in the Hogan and SHL psychometric assessment suites.
