About the role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the General Manager Digital Business is an integral part of Barwon Water’s executive leadership team. The role is responsible for the leadership and management of Barwon Water’s Digital Business Transformation and Technology Operations departments, with accountability for strategy, technology operations and significant digital business transformation. This encompasses an end-to-end remit of re-platforming/upgrading across the entire application portfolio while managing vendors and steering cybersecurity and data analytics initiatives.
About you
As an accomplished technology executive, you are experienced with stakeholder engagement at the highest levels both internally and externally. You have a nuanced understanding of enterprise-level technology best practice, with the ability to articulate the opportunities provided by systemic technology and data improvements in whole-of-business terms, across all levels of an organisation. With a strong technical base and the ability to work both strategically and operationally, you bring a record of managing organisational change through periods of significant transformation and growth.
