About the role
The Paint Technical Lead is the primary subject matter expert on paint-related technical matters. Servicing a state-wide network of service locations, the Paint Technical Lead for each state provides oversight for training, development and technical standards adherence, as well as ensuring that the very latest in leading-edge paint technology and practices are understood and supported across the organisation. Working in close partnership with the national leadership team, the role provides a critical link between frontline operations and the technical body of knowledge being built and supported across the organisation with regards to paint best practice.

About you
You are a highly experienced, trade-qualified automotive body refinisher with deep knowledge of present-day automotive paint technology trends and practices. Having built your career and credibility as a high performing automotive painter before progressing your career – perhaps as a technical specialist within a paint manufacturer or a related sector – you have worked your way up to a position of respect and leadership through your commitment to your craft. A clear communicator with a passion for training and development, you can inspire professional pride and a commitment to technical excellence in others.
