About the role
Reporting to the Deputy Director, the Senior Development Manager is responsible for identifying and engaging with a medium to high value donor portfolio creating innovative ways to garner support for the Foundation’s programs. This acquisition role will focus on identifying and pursuing opportunities to solicit new partners, build value propositions and new relationships across various sectors, and grow a $1M+ annual portfolio. Including all aspects of business development, the appointee will collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, identify projects and bespoke offerings that require funding and manage a suite of events. The role will deliver mutually beneficial outcomes aligned to the shared vision of both the organisation and donor needs, while supporting innovative major appeals and managing a significant philanthropic program.
Tertiary qualified, you have a track record growing major gift portfolios in sectors including health, education, arts, development or with other significant NFPs. A creative, enthusiastic and energetic professional, you thrive on interacting with donors, volunteers, stakeholders and community leaders. Complementing your demonstrated success building fundraising revenue and securing six figure+ major gifts, are your superior relationship building skills, results orientation to achieve financial goals and high work ethic. You are an experienced planner, manager and implementer of donor development activities and strategies.
