Safe Transport Victoria (ST Vic)

Safe Transport Victoria (ST Vic) is a newly created regulatory authority that unites the functions of Commercial Passenger Vehicles Victoria (CPVV) and Transport Safety Victoria (TSV), creating a new regulator to manage safety, compliance, accreditation and registration for commercial passenger vehicles, buses, and the marine sector across Victoria.

Three safety branches – Bus Safety Victoria, Maritime Safety Victoria, and Commercial Passenger Vehicles Victoria – each sit under the Safe Transport Victoria umbrella. The creation of STV as a new entity will increase transport safety in Victoria by strengthening existing resources and allowing experience, skills, monitoring and enforcement to be seamlessly shared across the transport portfolio.

In line with the creation of this new authority, a process is now underway to appoint the three senior leadership roles that comprise ST Vic’s senior leadership team, reporting to ST Vic Chief Executive Tammy O’Connor.

A video message from ST Vic Chief Executive Tammy O'Connor:

SHK is leading the search and selection process of each, as follows:
