Elizabeth is a Partner at SHK, primarily focussing on Chief People Officer appointments and their direct reports, working across all human resources specialist functions.
Elizabeth brings to her executive search practice a 25-year career in human resources in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.Prior to joining SHK, Elizabeth was the Chief People Officer at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (WEHI), and has held senior HR roles in higher education and professional services.She has led teams to deliver all aspects of the human resources function.Her particular focus is working with clients on both professional and academic roles in the higher education, research and healthcare sectors.
Elizabeth understands the importance of partnering with CEOs and their executive teams to attract and retain leaders not only suitably qualified and experienced, but who also hold values closely aligned with those of their organisation.Her genuine interest in helping people understand their personal drivers means she has had great success in matching the right people with the right organisation.Holding a deep commitment to diversity and inclusion, and applying this lens right her across her practice, Elizabeth derives enormous satisfaction from knowing she has supported leaders in finding an organisation where they feel a strong sense of belonging, and can have a positive and sustainable impact on the organisation’s culture.
